What Redmoon Converters is

Most everyday conversions are not one number. A cup of flour weighs 125 grams if it was spooned into the cup and closer to 150 if it was scooped; a delay time depends on the note value as well as the tempo; a concrete order depends on the bag size you can actually buy. General-purpose unit converters flatten all of that into a single dropdown. The 94 tools here go the other way: each one is built for a single job, carries the presets and units that job really uses, and explains the formula underneath the result so you can see why the answer is what it is.

The site is written and maintained by Paul Clark of Redmoon Software, an independent studio. The write-up on every tool page is drawn from the tool's own code rather than its name, tools that rest on a published standard or a rate that changes cite the source, and the whole set was last checked against what the components compute on August 26, 2026. Alongside the tools there are 104 worked guides on the blog, each taking one conversion through real examples and the mistakes people actually make with it. Everything runs in your browser, nothing you type is sent to us, and every tool is free.
